Romance Personified at John Paul Ataker
These dreamy faces looked lit from within and personified understated-elegance. Think super dewy skin finished with palest copper across eyelids and blushing tints on lips. Delicately lined eyes added femininity and the unexpected (super simple) hair is perfect bridal party inspo for the not-your-average-up-do. A very refreshing take on the idea of ‘pretty’.
Bold Femininity at Max Mara
This girls channelled sexy simplicity at its absolute best. Matte red lips, a flawless base and a delicate sweep of bronze over the eyes. Effortless, yet arresting, it’s a thoroughly modern, beautiful direction for any bride (or stunning for your entire bridal party - suiting almost every complexion).
Barely-There Winged Eyes at Calvin Luo
With cheekbones and lips stained the softest shades of pink, these faces felt fresh and beautifully understated, offset by the most delicate hint of a winged eye. Without lining the actual lid, these tiny feminine flicks at the edges only, offered an unexpected (& totally day-time appropriate) take, on a classic beauty look - more often associated with after-dark.
Practically Naked at Fausto Puglisi
You know that ‘no make up, make up look’. The one you want to find the perfect picture of to show your wedding day make up artist? The one where you want to look like the most beautiful version of yourself, but still look entirely like yourself (read: preferably wearing no makeup)? These are those looks. All nude eyelids, peach blush, brushed brows and a slick of lip gloss, think of it as a heightened state of ‘super natural’.
Strikingly Ethereal at Ulla Johnson
This queen of bohemia juxtaposed chic and uncomplicated hair with otherworldly eyes - subtle flicks of white following the lower lash line for a fiercely feminine look. Evoking vibes of a delicate Spring warrior, it’s an admittedly bold direction, more ’editorial’ in nature, but so, so beautiful. We envisage a beachside bridal party, in ethereal silk dresses and an adapted version of these captivating eyes.
